This policy explains how Equinox Engineering("we", "us") collects and uses personal information when you use equinoxeng.org.
What we collect
When you send us an enquiry through the contact form we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, phone number (if given), the topic you select and your message. If you call or email us directly, we hold the details you share with us in order to deal with your enquiry.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and carry out any work you book — that's it.
- We do not add you to marketing lists, and we do not sell or share your details with third parties for their own purposes.
Who processes it
Enquiries are delivered to us by email via SendGrid (our email delivery provider) and the website is hosted by Vercel. Both act as data processors on our behalf; standard server logs (such as IP addresses) may be retained briefly by our hosting provider for security purposes.
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up work — including the records we're required to keep alongside electrical certification — after which they are deleted.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email enquiries@equinoxeng.organd we'll sort it.
